So, You Had to Be a Cheater?

Not that there's anything wrong with that, mind you!

If you've played the game before, then these cheat codes may add a bit more fun for you.

Choose your quest! Is it the Olde Fashioned questing (EGA), or the New & Improved questing? (VGA)

EGA (Parser) Cheat Codes.

#1) The EGA version has a built in "God Mode" that you can access by typing in razzle dazzle root beer at any time (and can be turned off in the same fashion). With this code activated, you can change your stats, location and inventory. (I wouldn't suggest messing with anything else though.)

To activate a specific cheat, you simply press "Alt" and the key (listed below).

Code Function Info
Alt+T Teleport
Brings up a prompt to enter location to teleport to.
Alt+I Inventory
Prompts you for an inventory item number.
Alt+B Money
Why kill Goblins when you can drink root beer?
Alt+K Skills
Become Clark Kent with the press of a button! (Flying not included). Changes one skill t a desired level.
Alt+X Skills
Sets all your skills to 80. (You feel better already!)

After hitting Alt+K, the skill codes are as follows.

Code Skill
00 Strength
01 Intelligence
02 Agility
03 Vitality
04 Luck
05 Weapon Use
06 Parry
07 Dodge
08 Stealth

#2) Some versions of the EGA release of the game have a cheat where you can learn all skills upon character creation without incurring the 15 point penalty. To do so, make sure you have at least 16 points in your allocation pool, select an unknown skill and use the arrow key to learn it!

#3) Even the greatest of Heroes get stuffed noses! Type pick nose at any time during the game to stick your lockpick up a nostril and clear out all that gunk! This can help you skill up your lockpicking, even in the middle of the day! (Careful though, a low skill level could be deadly)

VGA (Point & Click) Cheat Codes

#1) Even after Amelia the Healer says she's had enough Mushrooms and Magic Flowers, she'll still buy them at each consecutive visit. Carry as much as you can, and make sure to grab some each time you're at the Fairy Ring or Erana's Peace. Hey, money is money! (Not necessarily a cheat, but seems more of a programming bug)

#2) Even the greatest of Heroes get stuffed noses! Click your lockpick at any time during the game to shove it up a nostril and clear out all that gunk! This can help you skill up your lockpicking, even in the middle of the day! (Careful though, a low skill level could be deadly)

#3) Even the less stealthy of Heroes can manage their way into the Thieves Guild. But if you happen to click on Crusher at the Tavern, you'll suddenly know how to make the Thieves Sign. Afterwards, you can head into the alley at night and get the password from Sneak and Slink, gaining full access to the Thieves Guild!
